Craig Lahti

Craig Lahti joined Thacker in April of 2023 after more than 20 years in the sauna & steam industry, as well as providing estimating services in the moving industry for more than 25 years. Craig services the Eastern Michigan and Northwestern Ohio area.

Born in Michigan, Craig was raised in the Lower Peninsula, Upper Peninsula, Florida, and Illinois, and attended college at Central Michigan University where he earned his BS in History with a minor in Humanities. While at CMU, he sang in several of the school’s choirs where he met his wife of more than 25 years. He likes to say that he and his wife have had a harmonious relationship since they met in the choir.

Craig and his wife have a daughter attending U of Michigan, and he and his daughter compete in strongman competitions. Other hobbies include crewing for hot air balloons, volunteering at an urban farm in Detroit, and singing. In 2013, Craig was fortunate to perform with a small vocal jazz group at one of the Presidential Inaugural Celebration Balls in Washington DC. Though it wasn’t attended by the President, it was an honor to perform for the others being honored at the celebration.
