Sara Thacker

VP of Operations

 

Sara’s passion for Operations was evident around age 10.  Occasionally in the summers her father, CJ, would bring her to work and often realized she had snuck away from making picture books to be in the warehouse.

Years later she attended York College of Pennsylvania where she majored in Supply Chain and Operations Management, an easy decision for her.  While in college she was President of APICS, American Production, and Inventory Control Society, and won 1st place in the 2014 International Student Poster Presentation.

After graduating, Sara joined Thacker as VP of Operations.  She leads Thacker’s 16 warehouses with one goal, to provide industry-leading service to funeral home customers.  In her personal time, Sara plays women’s professional football for the Washington Prodigy alongside her wife Chantal.
